SSB Annual Meetings are organized yearly with a focus on a specific theme related to biomaterials. 2003: Polymers and Allergies, 2004: Tissue Engineering, 2005: Surface Treatment Technologies, 2006: Absorbables, Degradables, and Resorbables, 2007: Micro- and Nanotechnologies, 2008: Mechanics of Cell & Materials Interactions, 2010: Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering (2009 was cancelled du to ESB Congress in Lausanne), 2011: Applications of Biomaterials in Dental and Musculoskeletal Devices.

Our 2012 theme, and focus of the morning sessions, is Biomaterials in Orthopaedic Surgery: From Bench to Bedside and back. Traditionally the afternoon sessions and posters are open to all aspects of biomaterials science. more ...

Call for papers: Preference for oral presentations will be given to those devoted to this topic. Poster contributions in all aspects of biomaterials are welcome.
